About
Open Austin's Labs serves Central Texas' growing need for evidence-based advocacy and public interest technology. We use data, design, and code to build open source technologies that make information about regional issues accessible to as many civic partners and residents as possible. We work with community organizations and government agencies to address research questions, and advocate for policy change.
Through this work, Open Austin's Lab reimagines civic engagement by training Central Texan volunteers to build technology for the public good.
